Changing Lives FC Gh

Changing lives fc Ghana is a D3 league team based in Adawso in the eastern Region of Ghana. 
Partnered with Changing lives community services

Changing Lives FC, formally known as King Yobo FC, was born after the increase in young men in and around the village of Adawso in the Eastern Region, were going down the wrong paths in life. Higher rates of unemployment, high rates of school drop outs and increased in anti-social behaviour such as petty crimes and drug taking. Lord Addo-Yobo, a school teacher at Abenta Methodist School and a resident of Adaswo saw this first hand and wanted to make a difference.

Changing Lives were invited to visit Lord and the team, immediately upon visiting their morals, values and mission aims were aligned, kickstarting their partnership, seeing King Yobo FC being renamed to Changing Lives FC. This partnership was also linked with Changing Lives’ team based in the UK, for refugees and asylum seekers. In addition to the support with the football teams, Changing Lives has been supporting the local villages with donations of clothes and shoes, as well as educational aid for the school in Abenta called Abenta Methodist School.
